Distressed Properties
Structures requiring substantial rehabilitation
Individuals, developers, or agencies wishing to purchase distressed properties must complete the proposal forms required by the authority for the rehabilitation of distressed properties.
If you are interested in rehabilitating one of our distressed properties and you have not worked with the Redevelopment Authority before, please complete and submit the pre-application form.
Following approval of the pre-application, you will be permitted to tour any available home and complete the proposal to purchase and rehab it.
Proposals for the purchase and rehabilitation will be reviewed at least 30 days after the property is made available. All applicants who submit a complete application that meets all the requirements will be presented to the authority board for their review. The board will make the final decision on who to enter into a developer agreement with.
All distressed properties are sold under a developer's agreement.
Any move-in ready homes will be marketed separately. Please visit the Available Property List for all available properties.
